Leporello – Your Own Author's Book
Integrated Teaching for Grade 5 & 6

This integrated arts education project connects biology and visual arts education, linking school learning with creative experience. Pupils explore the natural world through movement, experimental painting and collective creation. Based on these experiences, they create their own leporellos—author’s books that combine curricular knowledge with imagination and illustration. The project fosters empathy, creativity and collaboration, emphasising experiential and interdisciplinary learning. The final presentation showcases pupils’ unique stories and their view of nature as a work of art.
